You had him for years
but couldnot realize his worth
he tried his best to win you
but it looked as if you have
sworn to Gods to not give in.
He wooed you, begged you for love
pampered you like a queen
nothing could make you love him.
Then finally he gave in
walked away in dark, alone.
even then you did not cared
you thought he will be back himself.
Miracle occurred and he found love,
why is your heart aching now?
Why are you calling him a traitor?
And his lover a home wrecker?
Will you love him if he is back? I guess not!!!

This poem does a great job in accurately depicting the mentality of some woman. i have personally dealt with a situation like this...as soon as i left her thats when she started to appreciate me. That shows you that people can relate to the stories you tell through your poetry.

My poems are based on real life experiences or to stories which have been told as real stories to me, i sometimes add mythical characters to blunt the harsh reality.
