Puppets of fate

Witch and woman 16.05.2010

------------------------------------------------------

Why did the witch stalked
the ordinary woman
feigning as her friend?
Acting as her foe?

She wanted the king
But the king loved the woman
So she wanted her out of way
That’s why she stalked her.

Why did she not simply wooed
Why did she had to play tricks?
Her black soul showed her the way
Of treachery in place of love.

Why did she pretended as a man?
And wooed her rival?
She wanted to trick her away
From her prey the king.

Why did she not stop that game?
When she had her prey in her web?
She was scared if she breaks her heart
She might start to look for the king again.

Why was she trying to make her fall?
For any Tom, Dick or Harry?
To pick the thorn from her path
She wanted her to fall in love.

If she was in love with someone
That meant her web was safe
She could finally forget her
And live her life with her prey.

Puppets of fate 16.08.10

------------------------------------------------------

Two fates got tangled
For they swirled around
The same golden sun
Black and white got cursed
To dwell together forever.

No matter how hard white tried
To shake away black
No matter how much black craved
To paint white in black
Fate did not let them succeed.

So they danced together
Matching every step
Like two puppets on a string
Trying to break free
But the puppeteer holds the strings.

So they dance together
Hating each other
Trying to break free
To part their ways
Without success.

Ten years

So you want
Bygones to be bygone
After ten long years
After ruining all his hopes.

You loved his brother
You two soared seven skies
In each others consenting arms
Then he dropped you in mud.

You settled his score
On his innocent brother
Trapped him and played with him
For full ten years- mercilessly.

Now ten years later he stands
Prematurely greyed and shattered
You seek his forgiveness not love
Because your lover has caught you.

Games people play

A pair of funloving young ones
trying to have fun,
not caring about the pain they cause
no matter how much deep the hurt is.

Together they weaved a web
A net of a strange heartless prank
hiding themselves behind the veil
of ilusive cyberworld and cellphones.

They both pretended as one person
sometimes a man, sometimes woman
one day they both were a pretty girl
the next day a rich handsome man.

Ganging up on innocent preys for fun.
Then one day their game fired back
one of them fell for one of the prey
he left his playmate and told its over.

The game did not ended there though
one kept the phone in her clutches
to settle her scores on both the souls.
The other kept the name to woo her.

One of them busy in settling her score
the other too scared to share the truth
may be this is what happens when
people play games they should not.

Whisperer

A home full of loving harmony
all the members loved each other
but fate had a strange test in plan
one day a whisperer slithered in.

she came as a member of the clan
made it her duty to whisper in stealth
conjuring lies about each of the kins
never for once did she spoke the truth.

But such was her conjuring skill that
never was she got caught in deed
she worked in stealth and secret
her dark deeds were done smoothly.

The clan which was full of love
peace and harmony started to
hate each other and disrespect
The beauty of the home was lost..

A fairy watching over the thing
gently flew to each of them
told them every thing and told
a few words more to keep in mind.

Its hard to built a relation full of love.
Once you have, you will face jealousy.
When someone points a finger at
a person you trust, don’t act blindly.

Judge every word spoken to you
with open mind and heart, but always
go by your own heart and soul, first
trust your trusted before someone else.

crocodile tears

A bunch of noble youths were passing
through a forest dark and deep
they were making the arrangements
of passing the night there in the forest
as the end was no where near, and the
dark night quickly came gathering.

All of a sudden one of them saw a
flickering light among the woods,
surprised they followed it, and
reached a small hut placed in midst
of the deep, dark, menacing woods,
the door was answered by a beauty.

A petite lady of extreme charm
she offered them food, shelter and rest.
The group was thanful beyond limit,
and gratefully they laid down their tired
bodies, and immersed in slumber sweet.
Their slumber was broken by sound strange.

They heard the sound of heartbroken sobs,
they discovered their kind benefactor was
sobbing her heart and soul out in the night still.
They gathered around her and begged the reason.
She told them a story painful and tormenting.
This once was a home, where she lived with her love.

Her husband. Once a wandering woman came,
she gave her the shelter, she stayed back here.
In return to all that love and kindness she stole
her lover, her husband and disappeared forever.
She told them that she lives in the very town
where they are going, that brought these tears.

They swore vengenance in pride of their sweet
noble, youth. The wronged woman handed over
them the picture of the fiend. They left her
with a promise of settling her scores if they meet her.
They found out the fiend after searching for a while
told everyone what she did and she had to fly.

Then one day they met the husband, the second
Culprit. He softly told them in a voice gentle and kind,
they have been tricked by crocodile tears of an
adulterous woman, who was caught by this girl
In her lover’s arm, while her husband was away.
She told the husband when he came back and left.

The husband left the house after a showdown
he went his own way, and since that day whoever
passes the threshhold is rewarded by the same story.
But as the nearby people know her nature they never
get moved by those crocodile tears. So she laid her
bait on you and succeeded in settling her unfair dues.
